Growth

Do not be satisfied with merely polishing your fireplace, but stir the fire of your hearts and get your own souls aflame with love for Christ, or else you will not likely be greatly used in winning the souls of others." Charles Spurgeon
As we grow in our knowledge of Christ we sometimes study so much that we forget why we study. Never let your spiritual life become dry. Remember why you study His word and the lost in this world that don't know anything about Christ. Don't let people say about you that "He knows much more than he did when he first came here, but he does not have as much spirituality as he used to have." We should be careful we don't polish our outside appearance but forget to look deep in our hearts and find the real reason we do what we do. Learn everything you can about Christ and his word, but remember why you learn.
