The World And the Church

There are three things can take us down the wrong path of life, they are selfishness,worldliness, and pride. We see these things everywhere in the world today but we are seeing it become very common in our church's. It is getting harder to tell Christians from non-Christians. We want all the pleasures of the world and the righteousness of God. We can't have it both ways, when you seek God you will want less of the world and more of Him. If you draw near to God He will draw near to you. Quit trying to do it your way and do what the Lord tells you to do. Live your life where people will see God's righteousness shining from you. God say's whoever makes himself a friend of the world makes him an enemy of God. Surrender to Christ and give Him control of your life today, before it is to late.

James 4:1-61 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet[a] you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and[b] adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?
