Born Again

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad. C. S. Lewis As we go through life we change. We og through different stages in life but we are constantly progressing. The same goes for a Christian. When a person is truly a born again, their life will change. It can not stay the same. When Christ takes control of your life you will hate the things you loved and love the things you hated. As Lewis said in this quote, if your life has not changed you will rot. We can't claim to be followers of Christ and life our lives as we always have.
John 3:3-15

Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"

Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Jesus answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13.
No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.
14.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15.
that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

Not just a man

Many religions today believe that Christ was here on earth.
But they all say He was just a wise teacher but not God.
He can't be both.
He was either a mad man or the Son of God.

A Proud Man

A proud man is always looking down on people and things. As long as you are looking down you will not see what is above you.Pride will keep us from God. We must die to self and pride before we can know the saving grace of our Lord and savior. The world tells us that we should love ourselves, but Christ sayswe should love Him and others above all else. That means we are to become last and He is to become first.
