Temptation 2
We all feel like the cat sometimes as we go through life. It seems that everything in this world is trying to get us. The trials of life sometimes seem too tough to handle. But with Christ we can make it through anything this life may throw at us. No matter is the devil himself is looking over our shoulder, we have our heavenly father right beside us.
Sometimes we are the dogs in this picture. The temptations of this world seem to hard to resist. We think there is no way we can resist this world. You are right, we can't. But with Christ we can do all thing. He is the one that strengthens us. Just like if these dogs were left to their natural instinct, they would tear that cat apart. Their training and discipline keep them from moving in just like our Father in heaven keeps us going down the straight and narrow road. When we focus on Christ we don't want the cat's of the world, we only desire Him.

The Lazy Church
James 1:22-25
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
The Church of today has become like spectators at a ballgame. We show up to watch a few people play the game. We cheer for those that are doing the work while we show up for a hour, or so, then leave. We are not to be the audience, but doers. When just a few church members do all the work it is not long before the church gets tired and week. If two men carry one hundred pounds each up a hill it would be difficult but if you split that load up between a hundred it would be a piece of cake. Do your part in your church if you are not already doing something. Remember doing something is better than nothing.
A healthy church of one hundred members doesn't have just one Pastor. It should have one hundred ministers. Everyone in a church should be doing the Lord's work.
In Christ name,
Dustin

Right is Right
William Penn once said, "Right is right even if everyone is against it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it." Herod had John the Baptist imprisoned because he confronted Herod about his sin of adultery. Today we look the other way when we see things that are against what Christ teaches us. We say that it is not our problem and someone else should do something about it. When Christians start living by the Bible and nothing else, that is when we will see a change in this world. When we stop trying to make the Bible acceptable to the world and start telling the world that their only hope is God's word, that is when you will see change in our homes, schools, communities, and country. It doesn't matter is everyone at work or school thinks what they are doing is right, it matters what the Bible say's our Christian walk should be. Mere saying and hearing are no proof that a person's faith is for real; faith is visible in the one who does. God Bless,Dustin

The Ten Commandments
"We have 35 million laws on the books to enforce the Ten Commandments."
Watch this video to see a way that you can share the gospel with the lost. Remember that asking someone too church is not sharing the gospel. Telling them that Christ came and died as a sacrifice for their sins and if they repent and put their faith in Jesus alone will they be saved.
Saying that you are a Christian is easy but living a Christian life, that is were the true believers stand out.
Have a blessed day,
Dustin
