With thoughtless and
Impatient hands
We tangle up
The plans
The Lord has wrought.
And when we cry
In pain,He saith,
"Be quiet, dear,
While I untie the knot."
V. Raymond Edman
Today, let us stop putting knots in our lives by trying to do everything ourselves. Turn it all over to Christ and let Him get the knots out of your life. Be in full submission to Him and He will take care of your needs.
Proverbs 19:20-21 (New King James Version)
20 Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. 21 There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand.
Have a Blessed day,

Content
What God Hath Promised
God hath not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives through;
God hath not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God hath promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way,
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy,
Undying love.
by Annie Johnson Flint
Every day we have on this earth is a gift from God. Every breath that we breath is a gift that we do not deserve, but His grace is overflowing. Be thankful of what He has done in your life and look for ways to use the gifts He has given you to bless others. Even when bad things happen to us, we should look for the ways that God can be lifted up in times of despair. We must learn to be content with Christ. If you lost everything you had, would you be content with Christ?
That is a challenging question that my pastor ask us last night at church. It puts things in perspective and opened my eyes a little wider to the greatness of our God.
2 Corinthians 9:8
8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
God Bless,
Dustin

Patient
How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, patient with the old, sympathetic with the striving, tolerant with the weak and the strong, because someday in life you will have been all of these. George Washington Carver
In life we go through stages. We easly foget were we have been and were we are heading. When we look at others we get frustrated when they don't act the way we want them to, but we forget we were problably the same way. We look at the older generation and think that they move too slow, or complain too much. When maybe we should listen to what they have to say and pray that God will allow us to get old ourselves. Remember were you have been and were you are going before you complain about someone. It will allow you to be more patient.
Proverbs 14:29A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.

Discouragment
It was advertized that the devil was going to put his tools up for sale. On the day of the sale all his tools were placed for public inspection, each being marked with its sale price. There were many awful tools, Hatred, Envy, Jealousy, Doubt, Lying, Pride, and so on. Laying to the side was a very worn out tool that looked very harmless but was very expensive. One of the purchasers asked," what the name of that tool".The devil said "that's Discouragement.""Why is it priced so high?" "Because it's more useful to me than the others. I can pry open and get inside a person's heart with that one, when I cannot get near him with other tools. Now once I get inside, I can make him do what I choose. It's a badly worn tool , because I use it in almost everyone since few people know it belongs to me."- John Lawrence
When we are around others we can encourage or we can discourage them. When we put others down, there is no telling what the outcome will be. When someone is going through tough times, be there for them. We should always look for ways to lift people up, to help others reach their potential. The most important thing we can encourage a person to do is to turn their lives over to Christ. Without Christ in our lives it can be very discouraging. There is no hope without Him in our lives. When people see they are here for a reason and God has a reason for there lives that is the most encouraging news a person can hear. Knowing that Christ loves them and He will never leave them if they repent from their sins and surrender their live over to Him is very encouraging!
Colossians 2:2-3 (New King James Version)
New King James Version (NKJV)
2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and[a] of Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. In Christ Name,

Joy in Christ
“Why should Christians be such a happy people?” Why, it is good in all ways. It is good for our God; it gives him honor among the sons of men when we are glad. It is good for us; it makes us strong. “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” It is good for the ungodly; for when they see Christians glad, they long to be believers themselves. It is good for our fellow Christians; it comforts them and tends to cheer them. Charles Spurgeon
If you have Jesus Christ as your savior there is nothing you should fear. We know as Christians, God promise that all things work for good according to His purpose. We are to look at each day as a gift from God, give Him thanks for allowing us to serve Him. If we as Christians mope around all the time, are we example of people that are grateful people saved from a eternity of hell? The joy of Christ should be what we are focused on no matter what life may dish out. As a Christian people are watching you everyday. Let your light shine that Christ gave you, don't cover it up.
Matthew 5:14-16 (New King James Version)
14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
God bless,
