We cannot avoid being tempted--but we ought to avoid yielding to temptation. Luther used to say, "We cannot keep the birds from flying over our heads--but we can prevent them from building their nests in our hair!"
Temptation is everywhere we turn these days. We turn on the TV and see every sin known to man show up. But to we turn the channel or do we keep looking and find excuses not to turn it? It is not the temptation that is bad but what we do with it when it shows up in our lives. All sin starts out as a small temptation somewhere. A innocent smile at a coworker, eating dinner with friends of the opposite sex, taking small things from work or other places because they wont miss it, watching a few porn movies for fun, all can lead to a life of sin. Look at everything in your life right now. Make sure, before it's to late, that you are not getting into something that may destroy your life, and the life of others. If you are already their, go to God and repent and ask him to get you out of that temptation because He is the only one who can.
