If you are successful you will win false friends and true enemies.SUCCEED ANYWAY! The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.DO GOOD ANYWAY! Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY! People favor underdogs but follow only the top dogs.FIGHT FOR SOME UNDERDOGS ANYWAY! What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.BUILD ANYWAY! People may need help but may attack you if you help them.HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY! Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU'VE GOT ANYWAY!
A Christian should look at this quote and think why they do they things they do in this world. When we look at every situation that we come across as an opportunity to please God we will do it no matter what others think. That should be our objective in all that we do, whether it be family, job, or helping our fellow man. When you do something for the Lord it doesn't matter what others think. What God see's is the only thing that will matter in the end.

The Day of the Lord
2 Peter 3:10-1310 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.[c] 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
