Joy in Christ

“Why should Christians be such a happy people?” Why, it is good in all ways. It is good for our God; it gives him honor among the sons of men when we are glad. It is good for us; it makes us strong. “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” It is good for the ungodly; for when they see Christians glad, they long to be believers themselves. It is good for our fellow Christians; it comforts them and tends to cheer them. Charles Spurgeon

If you have Jesus Christ as your savior there is nothing you should fear. We know as Christians, God promise that all things work for good according to His purpose. We are to look at each day as a gift from God, give Him thanks for allowing us to serve Him. If we as Christians mope around all the time, are we example of people that are grateful people saved from a eternity of hell? The joy of Christ should be what we are focused on no matter what life may dish out. As a Christian people are watching you everyday. Let your light shine that Christ gave you, don't cover it up.

A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
