Why we complain

Hello everyone, No, I didn't take you off my morning list. I have been very busy lately, but that is still no excuse. In the last few days I have had my house broken into, gone to a wreck in the middle of the night where a young man lost his life, and this morning I was called out to fight a fire where my relatives lost their barn full of farm equipment. So many times in life we think we have it tough. We get stuck in our own little world and don't see the big picture. I was upset to have some things taken from my home but the more I think about it the more I thank God for what I have. My family is OK, I have a place to lay my head at night, and most of all I have the Holy Spirit guiding me every day. No matter how bad things may get in this life, it is a comfort to know that with Christ we can do all things and He will be with us through it all.
Matthew 6:19-21 (New King James Version)
Lay Up Treasures in Heaven
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
In Christ name,
Dustin
