Pray until it Passes

15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? James 2:15-16
We are all guilty of this one. If we pray long enough we wont have to do what the Lord is calling us to do. We see someone that is hungry, cold, thirsty, or they may not know the Lord and need to hear the gospel.and we do nothing. Are we showing the love of Christ, or are finding excuses not to help them.
Prayer is very important but it should not be where we stop when it comes to doing the Lord's work. We all know some family out there that will have very little or nothing at all this Christmas. What are you doing about it? Step out in faith this Christmas and show the love of Christ to others. Don't just pray about giving to others, actually put feet to your prayers and do something.
