Serve

What kind of life do you want to lead? Do you want to live a life that is written in stone forever or one that is scratched in the sand that will be washed away? A purpose worth living and dying for, one that is worth more than anything on this earth. If we are not carful we can let this purpose slip away by being too tired, too busy, and too distracted by all of the worlds problems. We have all at some time or another asked ourselves, why has God put me on this earth at this particular moment in time? Why did He give me certain gifts, a certain personality, and put me in the situation that He did? The biggest question most of us ask is how can I find out Gods purpose in my life? The first thing we should do is give Him all there is of ourselves. You must surrender all over to Christ, He can't be King at all if He cant be King of everything. We should stop thinking of ourselves and think of others out there that need the saving blood of Jesus Christ. When your church ask you to help, don't find an excuse not to do it, find a way, do it for Christ. When you say you are tired, remember, Christ died for you. When you are too busy, remember, Christ died for you. What will matter on the day you die? Serve Christ. Don't wait for a lightning bolt of revelation to figure what to do. Find a need in your church and fill it. Ask yourself, do you just show up at church or are you part of the church. Do it for Christ, He died for you. I can't explain it anymore clearly than that.
Let us give ourselves fully to his work, always looking for His purpose in our live. Knowing that our labor for the Lord will be carved in stone for eternity.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

In Christ name,
Dustin
